What does an adjustment do and is it painful?

Chiropractic adjustments are safe and effective movements of your joints by Dr. Thwaits’ hands performed for the purpose of restoring the normal position and movement of your joints. Once these bones or vertebrae are
restored to their proper position and movement, the spinal cord and its nerves are no longer irritated and can work as they should. Remember that the nervous system makes everything in your body work. Once the spine is
simply “in line” and no irritation is no the nerves or spinal cord, the body has the ability to be strong, healthy and if and if injured, heal. At times though the adjustment itself is not painful, the muscles attached to the
vertebrae are irritated and or inflamed and this may cause some discomfort.
